Duties/Responsibilities
Support existing control systems as well as one or more of the following:
- Development and implementation of advanced control technology in MPC, APC, and neural networks.
- Development and implementation of advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) technology.
- Development and implementation of expert systems applications.
- Development and implementation of DCS alarm management solutions via proprietary software.
Diplom-Ingenieur/in (FH/TH) (ProSys GmbH)

Required Background
- Minimum Diplom Ingenieur with a degree in Automation Technology or Process Engineering.
- First-hand experience with one or more control systems. Knowledge of Honeywell TDC3000 / Experion PKS and basic knowledge in C++, Visual C++, Visual Basic, database, .NET, etc. will be pluses.
- Teamwork skills.
- A high level of autonomy.
- Strong written and verbal English communications skills.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve European customers in the areas of Basic Control, Advanced Control, and Dynamic Alarm Management.
- Work together with clients to develop and implement new control strategies.
- Advise customers in the optimization of process control systems.

Required Background
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Must have at least 3 years of solid development experience using .NET technologies, in particular using C# on Windows platform. Knowledge of C/C++ is a plus.
- Experience with OPC a great plus.
- Exceptional coder with strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with multiple teams and management. Experienced with the entire software development life cycle.
- Experienced in object-oriented analysis and design; highly experienced with interface design and development; demonstrated advanced understanding of relational databases (SQL server). Ability to troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. or Germany.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, design, develop, test, and implement a custom-configurable, near real-time enterprise solution for control and monitoring of processes (as used in petrochemical plants and manufacturing facilities).
- Perform 80% of coding of advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) technologies and proprietary expert systems applications.
- Part of a development team for a core software, and must actively research and recommend technical and business alternatives to ensure timely and effective developments of software functionalities.
- Provide ongoing support for existing software.
